| I think that his shove is pretty polorizing, to being aa or kk or maybe qq, i think with any other hand like ak, jj 1010 he is more liely to call here and see a flop. We have only around 10bb to start to hand so i would much rather just open shove in this spot, which allows us to get called by hands such as aq ak and possible aj as well as 99+. If we were deeper staccked after we pot raised and he shoves, i think we can fold and wait for a better spot as he will have aa alot in this spot. However with our stack and preflop raise we are pretty much pot comited and have to call, even though we know we are most likely behind. however it is always hard to fold kk, thats why i prefer open jamming with around 10bb instead of pot raising then having to call, knowing we are most liely behind. | |

| Calling. Because the only real reason to raise like you did w/ 10bb is to try to suck in a victim so you can double and not just get the blinds and antes, so in other words, you had already shoved all in pre in your mind, you just hadnt done it at the table yet. I think in the micros this probably works more than at higher limits, since to a more thinking player your move telegraphs your intent to get it all in, and thus the strength of your hand. In a game w/ non-thinking players, this move gets you a victim, but in a game w/ decent players, you are likely only getting called by better. | |
